McLaren 570S Repairs

Released in 2015, the McLaren 570s is a 2-door coupe supercar, boasting an impressive 533 hp and 540 N⋅m of torque.  The entry-level model focused on “day-to-day usability and driveability” with increased luggage space, greater interior storage and leather upholstery options.  Multiple variants of the 570S were also released with different classifications, such as the 570 Spider, 570 GT4 and Sprint, and the 570 GT.

The 570S can accelerate from 0–62 mph, with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission developed by Graziano Trasmissioni.  Aerodynamics was a significant consideration in the design of this McLaren, as seen with the teardrop cockpit. The McLaren P1 inspired the rear of the 570S, and the car features dihedral doors, a trademark of McLaren as featured on its ultimate and super series cars.

The 570GT was presented in 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show, sporting a side-opening cargo hatch above the mid-mounted engine for additional cargo space, slightly softer suspension settings and improved sound insulation.  This was less track-focused, making it better suited for road trips.

The GT4 and Sprint were track-oriented versions of the 570S.  The difference with these models was features such as the new air jack suspension system, racing-style aero package, and centre-lock magnesium alloys wrapped in Pirelli racing slicks. McLaren also added a new race-style cooling system and radiator, but the powertrain remained unchanged.

The 570 Spider was its convertible model, unveiled at the 2017 Goodwood Festival Of Speed, borrowing the roof folding mechanism from the Super Series line-up.  The drivetrain of the Spider remains identical to that of the coupe which results in a similar performance to the coupé counterpart but features new forged aluminium wheels and three special launch colours.
